The Office: Boy or Girl for Jim and Pam’s First Baby?
With the big wedding out of the way on The Office, the next step for Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) is obviously the baby, and we already know that that storyline is set up for February. Does the happy couple get a boy or a girl, Jenna Fischer has absolutely no idea.
“Pam is due to have her baby in February. I don’t know what it is. It’s going to be a surprise. There have been a lot of discussions about it but no decision has been made yet. So it’s really like a real pregnancy. I think we’re going to find out when they write it. What I’m having. It should be really interesting.”
Jim and Pam have already had a sonogram of their baby, even prior to the big wedding last month. So she is very pregnant, in fact, she’s so pregnant she had everyone puking on The Office once she started feeling sick. Is it a good idea to withhold the gender of Pam’s baby?
“I don’t know if it’s that she has chosen not to, but they’ve chosen not to reveal it. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but she’s always referring to her baby as, like, in things that are not gender-specific.”

Meanwhile, some Office fans have made it known that Pam’s behavior of late had been annoying them. This started off when she found out that Michael (Steve Carell) had been dating her mom Helene. Since then, she’d been combative and antagonistic, but she says it’s OK given the circumstances.
“She’s not the best employee, is she? Well, yeah. But let’s consider her boss, right? I mean, certainly relative to her situation, she’s a pretty good employee. I mean, she has to put up with a lot that most people don’t have to.”
